Q-LON Weatherstripping

When it comes to compression seals for casement and projected windows - whether they're made of wood, vinyl or aluminum - Q-Lon weather seals provide premium performance.

Top quality windows perform for years. They seal out cold drafts, dust and water. And when a window performs as promised, a business reputation is built on a quality product.

Q-Lon weather seals stand up to the real world torture of time and temperature. A seal's resistance to compression set - the ability to spring back into shape after being crushed by normal window expansion and contraction - is the crucial factor in a window's field performance. Tests prove over and over again that windows with Q-Lon outlast and outperform windows weatherstripped with plastic, pile or anything else.

To put it simply, Q-Lon weather seals are different. They provide an improvement in the field performance that's dramatic. Yes, your window can perform better in the field where it counts.

New for vinyl casement windows are Q-Lon pocket seals, a design breakthrough for easy insertion and positive anchoring in vinyl extrusions. Q-Lon pocket seals turn corners beautifully and are available by special order.

You'll find other Q-Lon weather seals in a variety of profiles with tough, strong adhesive backing. Use them just about anywhere.

Q-Lon Door Seals

Q-Lon is the ultimate material for sealing entry doors. Q-Lon is a one-of-a-kind, urethane foam seal that stands up to temperature and time better than anything else.

All doors move. When the weather gets warm all doors expand. When it gets cold, doors contract. Expansion puts an extreme compressive load on a door seal. Contraction can remove a door from contact with the seal.

Only Q-Lon door seal is designed and field proven to move with a door through expansion and contraction. Q-Lon will take severe compression and then rebound into its original size and shape. It accommodates as much as 5/16" (7.94 mm) movement of a door away from the seal.

Q-Lon door seal profiles are available for either kerf insertion or with adhesive backing.
